Trajan (98-117 AD) - Sestertius 116-117 AD - Mint: Rome - Obverse: Laureate and draped bust right - Reverse: Trajan seated left in curule chair on high platform, accompanied by an officer, placing diadem on the head of king Parthamaspates who stands before him next to platform; Parthia kneeling right in supplication to left - gr. 28,78 - Rare. Slight patina imperfectios and small scratches. Very attractive specimen with a good portrait. Ex H.D.
