Spanish Colony. Isabel II gold 2 Pesos 1861/0 AU53 NGC, Madrid mint, KM143, Cal-835. A thoroughly pleasing example of this small gold emission revealing scant traces of mint brilliance to the protected regions of the legends, and although not noted by NGC, includes a small tail to the base of the second one in the date, a tell-tale sign of the overdate variety.
