USA, federal issues, silver 50-Cents, 1830, small O variety, bust of Liberty left, wearing pileus inscribed LIBERTY, seven stars in front, seven behind, date below, all within denticled border, rev. an eagle, its wings spread, head left, grasping an olive branch in the talons of its right foot and three arrows with the talons of its left, on its breast a shield representing the flag of the United States of America, denomination below, above UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and, on a ribbon, E PLURIBUS UNUM, all within denticled border (KM 37). Very fine.
Mintage 4,764,800 including large O variety.
The Latin legend translates as "Out of many, one."
