(S/M#C282). Block 123. An important opportunity to acquire this high end Gem 100 Yuan note. This note has thankfully been spared circulation, and is being offered to collectors in pack fresh form. PMG has encapsulated 131 examples of this pick variety, however only 16 are available to collectors in the Gem 65 EPQ grade level with merely six graded finer. Those looking to upgrade from their Choice Uncirculated or lower examples to this impressive Gem will surely meet fierce resistance from other collectors. The note depicts Junk at sea at left and a dark green guilloche at right. The border displays intricate lathe work and is comprised of dark brown ink. The reverse of the note displays an ornate design printed in olive green ink.
