This scarce 1905 series was given initially to various banks in the Republic of Cuba's early days but was withdrawn almost instantaneously. Typically the note is encountered as a specimen or proof but seldom in our lengthy history have we come across examples with signatures and serial numbers. While PMG notes that it is unissued, the note itself is technically a fully issued design though it may not have been one of the few that were distributed.
