With Decreto No. 17154 overprint in red. Nova Goa. Dated January 1 1924. Snarling Tiger at center with ornate columns at left and right. Sunburst designs behind "1" counters at left and right. The reverse displays the Jagannath Temple at center with ornate lathe work comprising the flanking ornate guilloches. Excellent color and appeal are noticed on this 1 Rupia note along with fully original paper. Out of 31 notes graded for the variety at PMG, this note is the finest in their population report at the time of cataloging. PMG Pop 1/None Finer.
