FRENCH INDO-CHINA. Zinc 1/2 Centime, 1939. Paris Mint. PCGS MS-62.
KM-20a; Gad-4; Lec-35. First year of a two-year issue for this metal, as the previous type was bronze. Since zinc is such a highly reactive material, these issues are normally found well-worn and corroded. To find one is such a state of preservation is quite uncommon; not surprisingly, PCGS only has 16 certified at all tiers of Mint State.
Estimate: $600 - $900
