KM-1222; PAN-322a. Mintage: 1,999. Far better than most surviving examples, this immense kilo Panda issue exhibits frost designs that are without blemish and fields that are deeply mirrored and free from tone or haze. Only struck in this denomination for two years (1998 & 1999), which makes it stand out against the 300 Yuan kilos that followed for the next many years. Sold with the original certificate of authenticity (#000842).
