Hartill-22.897. Diameter: 55.4mm; Weight: 37.7 gms. Local pattern type. Obverse: "Xian Feng zhong bao;" Reverse: "Dang wushi." Somewhat rough with respect to both rims and recessed areas, this provincial issue nevertheless features very clear characters and a deep brown color overall, with some brassy-yellow hints scattered throughout.
