BMC-Class LXVI Group I # 911. Weight: 192.4 gms. "Yu Tai Qing Ji Hui Hao Wen Yin" (Yutaiqing Bank, remittance bank fine silver); "Guan Gong Gu She Kan" (inspected by official public assayer She); "Fu Xing" (Fuxing[qing] Bank). The outer stamps are deeply applied exhibiting minor doubling of the characters, while the central stamp has a small natural void obscuring portions of two characters. The central side stamps are bold and nearly complete and the additional top stamp with well struck. This handsome example displays rich mottled gray patina with minor earthen deposits amongst the devices adding to its pleasing appearance and originality.
