BMC-Class LXVI Group I # 927. Weight: 147.77 gms. "Wan Tai Duo Ji Hui Hao Wen Yin" (Wantaiduo Bank, remittance bank fine silver). "Guan Gong Gu Zhou She Kan" (inspected by official public assayers Zhou and She). "Ku" (treasury). The central and outer stamps are boldly applied with good definition of the characters and the assay stamps are nicely centered and easily read. The additional stamp in the center is strong and well defined. The left wing tip has been clipped making this piece a bit lighter than it should be. The rich patina and minor earthen deposits amongst the devices add its originality and pleasing appearance.
