(t) CHINA. Yunnan Sanchuo Jieding. Provincial Three Stamp Remittance Ingots. Silver 5.5 Tael Bank Ingot, ND. Graded "Genuine" by Zhong Qian Ping Ji Grading Company.
BMC-Class LXVI Group I # 954. Weight: 195.8 gms. "Fu Xing Qing Ju Hui Hao Wen Yin" (Fuxingqing Bank, remittance bank fine silver); "Guan Gong Gu She Kan" (inspected by official public assayer She). The outer and central stamps are deeply impressed with clear characters, though the central stamp does have a bit a weakness as is commonly found on these types and the two assayer stamps are bold and clear. A small portion of one of the wing tips seems to have been cut slightly reducing somewhat reducing its weight and two cut marks on the front are mentioned for accuracy. Despite its shortcoming this handsome representative offers a pleasing appearance displaying lovely rich gray patina.
Estimate: $500 - $700
