L&M-26; K-221; WS-0038. Struck in silver, denominated "1/4 DOL." Somewhat rarer than the 1/2 Dollar from the same series. This handsome example boasts a pleasing appearance displaying light attractive iridescent patina that pops out when tilted in the light. Upon close inspection evidence of a past cleaning becomes apparent, now subdued by the delicate patination. Despite its shortcomings a lovely representative of the type that is pleasing to the eye.
