CHINA. Gold Presentation Dollar, ND (1923). Tientsin Mint. PCGS SPECIMEN-64.
L&M-1126; K-1572; KM-Pn67; WS-0084. Tsao Kun in civilian attire/Proclamation of the Constitution commemorative. Already an incredibly alluring and rare type in silver, this corresponding issue in gold stands as a MAJESTIC RARITY and is the finest of six graded in the PCGS census. Some light die polishing and a few scattered marks are observed, but nothing detracts or distracts, and the matte brilliance presents a rather enchanting overall appearance. Furthering its already robust appeal is a deeper golden-orange nature that augments the peripheries and the devices. Undoubtedly a capstone piece and destined for the advanced cabinet of a connoisseur.

From the Stephen K. Scher Collection.
