Obverse: Facing portrait of Emperor Tao-Kwang (1820-50) with outer interwoven geometric pattern; Reverse: Facing dragon in center with "The First Year of Tao-Kwang" in Chinese characters around the ornamental legends. Stunningly preserved and beautiful, this silver fantasy displays smooth fields with a mixture of red, yellow, green and blue tone around the edges on both sides. Undoubtedly one of the finest extant for this type and sure to attract even more interest because of its coveted pedigree.
