K-B23 (incorrect in NGC insert); KMX-M125; WS-1349-7. Commemorating the death of Emperor Kuang-hsu. A RARE type seldom seen at auction, this well struck and detailed piece does exhibit considerable smoothing in the fields, though it is entirely consistent with others we have seen. Some dark toning in the protected areas simply accentuates the raised devices.
