CHINA. Fantasy "Chang Hsun" Bronze Dollar, ND. PCGS MS-63 Brown.
cf. K-B58; KMX-542; cf.WS-1349-73. Diameter: 39mm. Obverse: General Chang Hsun in ceremonial clothing; Reverse: Crossed dragon flags with Chinese characters between. Struck in the commemoration of the attempt in 1917 by General Chang Hsun (of Chihli) to bring back the old monarchy and restore Puyi as emperor. Attractive quality, with bold designs and rich brown coloration throughout. EXTREMELY RARE as a type, this being only the third genuine example we have seen (one other in copper, and another in gold).
