(t) CHINA. Order of the Golden Grain, Instituted 29 July 1912. Class VIII (Knight). EXTREMELY FINE.
Barac-365. Dimensions: 41mm x 41mm; Weight: 23.65 gms. Obverse: Five yellow grains with green sprigs garlanded together with five-colored ribbon and set upon white backing; all within teal border decorated with dots alternating in five colors; this set upon radiant star with longer white rays and argent shorter rays; Reverse: Four seal script characters set upon red backing. Clasp and loop attached at the top. VERY RARE and appealing, though some chipping is observed at parts of the enamel, and the red backing on the reverse is rather discolored.
