CHINA. Hunan. 10 Cash, Year 1 (1915). NGC MS-65 Red Brown.
CL-HUN.75 obverse muled with HUN.78; KM-Y-401.1; CCC-Unlisted; Duan-Unlisted. A highly lustrous and pleasing example of the type with bountiful mint red with areas of richer coloration. Upon close inspection of the English legends reveals that every letter is doubled adding a bit of character and interesting diagnostics. This die combination does not appear to be listed in any of the standard reference material on cash issues and should be of particular interest to many collectors.
From the Charles Tanant Collection.
Estimate: $2000 - $3000
