(t) CHINA. Sinkiang. 5 Mace (Miscals), ND (1910). PCGS AU-58.
L&M-819A; K-1136; KM-Y-6.6; WS-1296. Dragon within large beaded circle. This nicely preserved survivor exhibits a bold strike with well-formed devices and even wear that is primarily contained to the high points and exposed areas. Lovely mottled sunset hued patina with dusky accents and areas of brighter coloration add to this pleasing piece. Seldom appearing on the market in this high state of preservation and far superior than normally encountered, this is about as nice as one can reasonably expect to find of this crude issue.
Estimate: $1500 - $2000
