L&M-366; K-775; KM-Y-456; WS-0778. Short stroke "jin" variety. Boldly struck and bright, this pleasing example boasts satiny surfaces with cartwheel luster and a hint of tone amongst the devices. Close inspection reveals two small areas on the obverse where an attempt was made to remove some excess debris leaving tiny shallow surface scratches accounting for the detail's designation. Despite its shortcomings this lustrous survivor is pleasing to the eye with plenty of original mint bloom.
