L&M-79; K-668; KM-Y-329.6; WS-0183-14. Variety with 7-shaped vertical stroke in "nian". This boldly struck and lustrous survivor exhibits well-formed devices and satiny surfaces displaying lovely light mottled patina. Close inspection reveals several areas of discoloration on both sides accounting for the detail's designation, but are hardly a distraction. Despite its shortcomings this handsome example offers a pleasing appearance with good eye appeal.
