Lec-A3. Made for "The China General Omnibus Co. LTD." An interesting piece with bright brass color fields and clean details. An excellent chance to own a piece of Shanghai transportation history.

Originally incorporated in 1923 in Hong Kong--like many companies in Shanghai at the time--the company ran bus routes in the International Settlement and beyond. Routes were opened in 1924, and increased to about 20 lines in the 1930's. The 71 bus line was similar to the route today through Shanghai. Operating separately from the main company, French Concession were operated by the "compangnie francaise de tramways & d'eclarage electrique de Shanghai."
