KB-1106; CJCW-128. Diameter: 58mm; Weight: 77.26 gms. By J. C. Wienecke. Obverse: KOLONIALE TENTOONSTELLING SEMARANG, Javanese bride seated left on cushion and within ornate temple archway; Reverse: Central field left blank for engraving; around, decorative floral scrollwork, with crowned coat-of-arms of Semarang between two lions at the bottom. Edge: Plain. Charming yellow-brown surfaces, with very little at all in the way of wear or handling, save for a few scattered marks in the reverse field. Elegant and extremely artistic.
