Ship sailing left, surmounted by square-topped shield and crucifix mast dividing E and Rose, twisted rigging 3/2, without bowsprit, waves lapping below, 5.05g [78.0grns], 6h, m.m. bell [over sword ?] (HCN 105; Montagu Duplicates II, 132; Murdoch I, 609; Lockett 1963 this coin; cf. Comber II, 122; Schneider I, 786; Brown & Comber C25; North 2005; Spink 2531), a bright coin with a superficial marks to Angel's left wing and on Dragon's body, a mysterious doodled privy mark 'bell' beside the official pyx mark on reverse, otherwise on a broad and neat round flan, very fine, the central devices better still, rare, in NGC 'Horace Hird' holder, graded MS63 (Cert. #6135299-005).
