Ireland 1.11.1982 P-74a PMG Gem UNC 66 EPQ 50 Pounds
The series "B" banknotes of the Republic of Ireland replaced the Lady Lavery notes first introduced in 1928. This series, which was printed until the early 1990s, contains many dates for the lower denominations, but only two dates were printed for the 50 Pound, which was the highest denomination issue (this series did not contain a 100 Pound note). This is the first date in Gem Uncirculated condition.
