United States / South Carolina April 10, 1778 Fr. SC-150 PCGS Very Fine 20 15 Shillings
Signed by Charles Pinckney, Jr. who was a signer of the U.S. Constitution and would later serve multiple terms as South Carolina Governor. While the 1778 series of South Carolina is often found in high grades, this only applies to the lower denominations. This is a higher denomination which can only be classified as "rare". Appealing rising sun vignette at lower right and overall quite a desirable note. PCGS mentions "Minor Splits".
