ISLANDS OFF CARIA, Rhodos. Rhodes. Pseudo-autonomous issue, circa 31 BC-AD 60. Drachm (Bronze, 34 mm, 30.81 g, 12 h), struck under the magistrate Antipatros. Radiate head of Dionysos to left, wearing ivy wreath. Rev. ΡΟ/ΔΙ/ΩΝ ΕΠΙ ΑΝΤ/ΙΠΑ/ΤΡΟ/Υ Nike advancing right, holding wreath in right hand and palm branch in left. BMC 366-8. RPC I 2752. SNG Copenhagen 882. Dark brown patina. Light cleaning marks, otherwise, very fine.
