SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Demetrios I Soter, 162-150 BC. Drachm (Subaeratus, 17 mm, 3.32 g, 11 h), imitating Antioch on the Orontes, year 161 = 152-151. Diademed head of Demetrios I to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΔΗΜΗΤΡΙΟΥ Cornucopiae; below, monograms of ΠΑ and ΗΡ above ΑΞΡ. Cf. HGC 9, 806. Cf. SC 1642.3c. Nicely toned. Plating broken in spots on the reverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
