SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Cleopatra Thea & Antiochos VIII, 126/5-121/0 BC. (Bronze, 18 mm, 5.15 g, 12 h), Antioch on the Orontes, year 191 = 122-121. Radiate head of Antiochos VIII to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΙΣΣΗΣ ΚΛΕΟΠΑΤΡΑΣ / ΚΑΙ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ Owl standing right, head facing, on overturned amphora; in exergue, AqP and pilei. HGC 9, 1189. SC 2263.4c. Green patina with light earthen highlights, and with a wonderful portrait of the young king. Minor corrosion on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
