TROAS. Alexandria Troas. Volusian, 251-253. Assarion (Bronze, 22 mm, 5.96 g, 6 h). IMP C VIBI AFINI OLVSSIANV Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Volusian to right. Rev. COL AVG TROADE Marsyas standing left on podium, extending right hand and holding wineskin over left shoulder. RPC IX 459 (same dies as illustrated). Reddish-brown patina. Very fine.
