PONTOS. Laodiceia. Time of Mithradates VI Eupator, circa 100-85 BC. (Bronze, 18.5 mm, 4.41 g, 12 h). Head of Dionysos to right, wearing ivy wreath. Rev. ΛΑΟΔΙ-ΚΕΙΑΣ Filleted thyrsos; to right, monogram of MET. HGC 7, 290. RG 3. Dark brown patina. Minor roughness, otherwise, very fine.
