KINGS OF THRACE. Lysimachos, 305-281 BC. Drachm (Silver, 18 mm, 4.25 g, 12 h), in the name of Alexander III of Macedon, Kolophon, c. 301/0-300/299. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ Zeus seated left, holding eagle in his right hand and scepter in his left; to left, lion's head left above crescent; below throne, pentagram. Price 1832. Lightly toned and attractive. Nearly extremely fine.
