KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great', 336-323 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 31 mm, 16.58 g, 12 h), struck posthumously, Perge, year 13 (ΙΓ) = 209-208. Head of Herakles right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ Zeus seated to left on a backless throne, holding eagle in his outstretched right hand, and scepter in his left; to left, date (ΙΓ). DCA 314. Price 2925. Light deposits and bang on the reverse, otherwise, good very fine.
