KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great', 336-323 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 27 mm, 16.89 g, 12 h), Arados, year NH = 58 = 202-201. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion's skin headdress. Rev. ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ Zeus seated left, holding eagle in right hand and scepter in left; to left, palm tree; below throne, monogram of AP; in exergue, NH. DCA 771. Duyrat 1249. Price 3386 (same dies as illustrated specimen). Well centered. Light deposits and obverse flatly struck in parts, otherwise, very fine.
