KINGS OF PAEONIA. Patraos, Circa 335-315 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 24 mm, 12.54 g, 12 h). Laureate head of Apollo to right. Rev. ΠΑΤΡΑ-ΟΥ Paeonian horseman, wearing crested helmet and full armor, galloping to right and spearing fallen Macedonian soldier; club behind. HGC 3.1, 148. Cf. Paeonian Hoard 85. SNG ANS 1025. Obverse struck from a very finely made die. Obverse weakly and slightly double struck, otherwise, about extremely fine.
