KORKYRA. Korkyra. Roman rule, circa 229-48 BC. (Bronze, 22 mm, 7.56 g, 6 h), struck under the magistrate Phion. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin's headdress. Rev. ΦIΛΩN Prow to right; above monogram of PK. HGC 6, 86. SNG Evelpidis 1978-81. SNG Copenhagen 237. Green patina with light earthen deposits. Light cleaning marks, otherwise, very fine.
