LESBOS. Methymna. Circa 350/30-250/40 BC. Obol (Silver, 8 mm, 0.36 g, 10 h), Samian standard. Facing head of Silenos. Rev. Tortoise within circular border; all within a round incuse. Franke 18b. HGC 6, 901. Rough surfaces as found, but toned and with a remarkably fine facing head of Silenos. A beautifully designed coin. Very fine.
