Paul Beadle (1917-1992), was an English born sculptor who emigrated to Australia in 1944. 1n 1961 he moved to New Zealand to be chairman of Fine Arts at Auckland University's Elam school. The RAIA medal is awarded annually by the Australian Institute of Architects but in gilt bronze. The Royal Victorian Institute of Architects was amalgamated into the Royal Australian Institute of Architects in 1968. The Prudential Building was opened by The Honourable B.S.B. Stevens, M.L.A., Premier of New South Wales. Amor-Sanders were Sydney's major medallists and die-sinkers (1888 - 1997).
