George VI (1937-52), VIP Proof Scottish reverse, Shilling, 1946, bare head left, reverse crowned lion holding sword and sceptre seated facing on crown (S.4104, ESC -- , Bull 4176 R7). One or two light hairlines in the fields. Encapsulated by NGC as PF62. Of the highest rarity and the only known example. Ex Fellows 26/4/1966.
