Werheard, diademed portrait right extending to bottom of coin, within inner linear, legend surrounds
+COENVVLF REX M (uncial m). Rev, pellet at centre of pincer cross, wedges in angles, legend reads,
+PERHEARDI MONETA, HE ligate in moneyers name, 1.20g (S.916; N.347; BMC. 81; Naismith C45.1H,
plate 27). Struck on a large module flan, portrait, legends and pincer cross motif all thorough and consistent.
Edge chip to the eastern perimeter of flan with a small striking crack in the same vicinity, otherwise very fine or
better for issue. Very rare.
Accompanied by an old dealers ticket.
