Russia CCCP (U.S.S.R.), FIRST CLASS ORDER of SERVICE to the HOMELAND in the ARMED FORCES This extremely rare and important soviet 1st class order of Service to the Homeland in the Armed Forces awarded to Major General of internal troops A. Verevkin. First Class badge, silver gilt and enamels, mint mark to reverse and number "09" , screw back to reverse, extremely fine and of highest rarity! ONLY 13 awarded! This order was instituted on october 1974 by decree of the Presidium of the supreme Soviet of the USSR. This made it the first military order to be instituted since the end of the second World War.
