Anglo Saxon-England, Continental Phase (695-740), Sceat, Series E, Variety E/A mule [?], Votive reverse, crescent right, mandible and claws in place of triangular head, pellets, cross pommée and chevron below, rev. beaded votive standard, crosses to outer sides and corners, 0.82g, 180° (SL 99-10 plate coin; SCBI 69, 279 this coin), lightly toned with hints of underlying lustre, otherwise a really pleasingly good very fine.
