This magistrate is only known from two rare coins struck by Hadrian (RPC 2424 and 2424A), both of a much larger denomination and neither with this reverse type. This reverse type was first struck at Maeonia under Nero, then again under Trajan, but not again until Marcus Aurelius. This is the first known specimen known for Hadrian.
