D N ARCAD-IVS P F AVG, diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Arcadius right holding spear and shield; above his head the Manus Dei holds a wreath / GLORIA RO-MANORVM, Arcadius in military garb standing facing, head left, holding labarum and resting on shield; bound, seated captive to his left looks back at him // CONΓ (star). RIC IX 53a, 2; LRBC 2154. VF, full-size flan with small rim nick; ochre highlights create the "desert patina" look.
