D N ARCADIVS P F AVG, diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Arcadius right / VIRTVS E-XERCITI, Arcadius in military garb standing right holding labarum and globe, placing left foot on kneeling, bound captive to his right who looks back; (pellet) // [S]MHB. RIC IX 24C; LRBC 1975. Good VF, slightly pebbly olive patina with scant ochre deposit in recesses.
