Nero. AD 54-68. Æ Dupondius (29mm, 11.84 g, 6h). Lugdunum (Lyon) mint. Struck circa AD 65. Laureate head right, globe at point of neck / Securitas seated right on throne, resting head on hand, elbow leaning on back of throne, holding scepter; to right, lighted altar, against which leans a lighted torch, resting on a bucranium . RIC I 406; WCN 505; Lyon 83. River patina, light roughness, some pitting on reverse. Near VF.
