Anglo-Saxon England, Primary Series (680-710), Sceat, Series BII [?], diademed bust right, serpent circle starting at seven o'clock, rev. bird on cross pattée, cross pommée before, annulet either side, serpent circle starting at six o'clock, 1.25g, 90° (SL 16-60; SCBI 69, 68 this coin; North 126; Spink 777), light porosity, otherwise nicely centred with some staining spots, a bolder very fine, scarce.
