Anglo-Saxon England, Secondary Series (710-760), Sceat, Series B or G/J mule (formerly Series BIIIB), diademed head right, braided hair, angular nose and ear, lower lip prominent, round chin, cross before, rev. dove on cross, left, annulets either side, pellets below, blundered legend in margin, 0.90g, 135° (SL 22-10; SCBI 69, 330 this coin; SEMC2, Metcalf no. 91; T&S pp. 345-53, 293-5; Spink 800/802), a remarkable Sceat with only faint wisps of porosity, otherwise almost extremely fine, very rare.
