Australia Commonwealth of Australia 5 Pounds ND (1952) Pick 27d R48 PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ. This handsome, higher denomination King George VI portrait note is surprisingly rare in the best of grades. Pack fresh original qualities abound on this offered note, which features the final signature variety for the design. It is worth mentioning that ordinary circulated examples appear from time to time, but Gem Uncirculated examples are a whole different story. Of the 70 examples graded in the PMG Population Report at the time of cataloging, only six notes grade Gem Uncirculated or better.
